Overview of Dr. Scipes' publications:
Since 1984, I have written and been published on a wide number of subjects--as of May 4, 2010, I have published 138 separate articles, and one book, with another book (forthcoming) being published in September 2010.
My academic work is divided into books and peer-reviewed articles.
My articles that have been published in specialty and serious popular publications--in hard copy, in hard copy and on web sites, and sometimes only on a web site--are listed by Subject: Miscellaneous Publications; International Political Economy; Environmental/Ecological Politics, Urban Politics, War/Military/Empire, Philippines; Venezuela; Labor Theory; Building Grassroots Labor Internationalism; International Labor (not Philippines); US Labor (not including AFL-CIO Foreign Operations); AFL-CIO Foreign Operations. (With only a few exceptions, there is almost no overlap of the articles in the above-listed categories--and, whenever possible, electronic links to articles are provided.)
However, on April 25, 2007, I created a new category, Neo-liberal Economic Policies. This brings together my writings on this subject from the Philippines, South Africa, Venezuela and the United States (from different categories)--each based on personal field research.
NOTE: While most of the links herein work well, there are some that do not. I checked each one on May 4, 2010, and each is operable as of this date unless indicated otherwise.
